One can only imagine the delight I experienced when I received an invitation to attend this special event(many thanks for this to Melissa Dragich of Joe's publicity team!). This was one of only four concerts across the east, center, west of America terminating with a special in studio in San Francisco that Joe was playing to celebrate the anniversary of this groundbreaking release. An album I am sure we can all agree, almost single-handedly saved the art form known as instrumental rock guitar.

Arrive at Heathrow late evening and pop onto the tube. Big mistake, somewhere around Hammersmith the train gets swamped with blue clad Chelsea supporters all foul of breath.

Many of the buggars drunkenly mistake my luggage for prime seating and I quickly assert my Canadian dominance with a few quick sharp words…

As I sit here trying to make it through another gripping Canadian winter in the Great White North (several communities reported wind chill temps between -40 and -50 yesterday!!! Don’t matter if it is Fahrenheit or Celsius) thank god there is heartwarming and exciting news to help us make it through…
