Paul Reed Smith SE Series Welcomes Seriously Sexy New Models

Two exciting new models have recently been added to the hugely popular Paul Reed Smith SE guitar series. The SE Custom Semi-Hollow Soapbar and SE Singlecut Trem expand the versatility and tonal attributes of well-loved existing guitars and are now available in the UK.

The SE Custom Semi-Hollow Soapbar features the mahogany back and maple top (with flamed veneer) of the ‘standard' Custom and adds a pair of classic soapbar pickups to the hollow internal chamber and funky f-hole recipe. The new pickups add extra flavour to the SE Custom Semi-Hollow options, and are very much in keeping with the model's stylish retro-modern vibe.

The addition of a tremolo system on the highly-rated SE Singlecut Trem brings this new model into line with the US built Singlecut Trem, allowing players on a budget to experience the whammy bar action offered by the SE's American cousin. A wide-fat neck carve, maple/mahogany body and gorgeous figured veneer top make the new Singlecut Trem one of the most flexible and desirable models of the current SE line-up.

Retail prices for the SE Custom Semi-Hollow Soapbar and SE Singlecut Trem are £629 and £599 respectively.
