PRS Guitars Adds Maple Top To Mira Model

Paul Reed Smith guitars has unveiled a figured maple-topped version of its well-received Mira guitar, available in the UK through Headline Music Ltd and its dealer network.

The new Mira Maple Top also adds new finishes and optional gold hardware to the mix, with the new ‘wraparound’ colours being Tri-Color Sunburst, Dark Cherry Sunburst, Whale Blue/Black Burst, Violin Amber Burst and Vintage Natural.

The stunning maple top completes a guitar crafted with a mahogany body and neck and East Indian rosewood fingerboard (adorned with either moon or optional birds inlays). A choice of regular or wide-thin carve is available on the 24 fret, 10” radius, 25” scale-length neck and the package is completed with locking tuning pegs and twin Mira humbuckers coupled with a simple volume and tone pots, three-way selector and mini toggle coil-tap control section.

Headline Music’s Gavin Mortimer commented, “The Mira has been a huge critical and commercial success for PRS and the new Maple Top adds a great new look and distinctive tonal options to the range.”

Prices for the new PRS Mira Maple Top start at £1599 RRP
