Scott 'Not' Ian is the main lyricist and rhythm guitarist for the thrash metal band Anthrax, which has sold over 10 million albums. Scott is one of the most recognisable and influential figures in the world of heavy metal. He as appeared on a host of TV shows and Anthrax is arguably the most original and visionary band of it's 'big four' peers - Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer.

Espresso.
Which song/album really made you want to play guitar?
Kiss 'Alive'.
Who’s the world’s greatest guitarist?
Eddie Van Halen!
Who’s the world’s most underrated guitarist?
Malcolm Young.
So what are you up to at the moment?
Writing the new Anthrax album.
What was the last gig you went to (as a member of the audience)?
Who would be in your dream line-up?
Van Halen in Los Angeles. They ruled!!!!

Too many!!! My Jackson Randy Rhoads from 1982 or my 81 Gibson V is my precious.

Machine Head 'The Blackening'.

No!

Wine, Champagne, Whisky, Beer..... it depends on my mood.
