London Guitar Show

Here is a list of the 12 finalists in order of play, with selected comments from the 7 judges on the actual day. For the sake of people’s feelings and/or egos, we have not put the final scores for each finalist. We do however mention the Top 3 places and their scores out of a possible 140 points!

So after winning the public vote and the online panel’s vote, Gustavo Guerra impressed a panel of industry judges enough to win Guitar Idol 2008 by a clear distance. His fully professional performance, showmanship and exquisite technique needed no hiding place on the main stage at The London Guitar Show!

Paul Reed Smith awarded Gustavo a Custom 24 Limited Edition (1 of 12) – a beautiful guitar worth over £2500 ($5000) and a Peavey ‘Satch’ signature amp signed by the great man himself.

2008 looks like being an incredibly busy year for all of us at Alloutguitar.com with the imminent launch of Guitar Idol - not to mention many of us having new personal challenges and musical career opportunities.
