Today's Elevenses Throws Eleven Quick Questions At Jamiroquai's Rob Harris!

Rob Harris has been playing and writing with Jamiroquai for the last 6 years and has also recorded for artists Beverly Knight, Kylie Minogue, The Young Punx, Mark Owen, Gary Numan, Sophie Ellis Bextor, The Pasadenas, Uniting Nations plus many others. He is currently working on an as yet untitled album project with a couple of the guys from Jamiroquai.

So what’s your drink of choice at 11am in the morning?

Definitely coffee!

Which song/album really made you want to play guitar?

I was really into the Beatles when I was a kid and I had the songbook. Not a particular album but just The Beatles in general.

Who’s the world’s greatest guitarist?

The guy who plays on the Youtube shred videos (Steve Vai shreds, Eric clapton shreds etc).

Who’s the world’s most underrated guitarist?

Robbie Macintosh (today anyway).

So what are you up to at the moment?

Currently writing and producing for a few artists and just about to start working on a new Jamiroquai record.

What was the last gig you went to (as a member of the audience)?

How many guitars do your own and which one is ‘your precious’?

I have 14 I think. My main one is my old Japanese Vintage Squier Strat - I just love it!

What’s the last great album that you bought (or were given)?

I just got the new Foo Fighters on itunes.
